To design a conducive learning environment for community leaders that accommodates different modes of learning via play, discussion, collaboration, reflection and experimentation. To design common spaces for people from different backgrounds to interact and interconnect ideas as they pass through before continuing on their respective different pathways.

Research
As the space is meant for training community leaders, research was done on what makes an effective learning environment, and how to ensure there is space for different learning pedagogies and flexible, collaborative learning.
Spatial design

- Replace solid, distinct borders of spaces with different movable, customizable partitions

Use of bright wood tones match the greenery, allows the colours to pop out in contrast

White also acts as a plain backdrop, a canvas in which users are to express and build on their creative ideas
Dining hall
The dining hall is the featured area of the space. It acts as a central gathering space that encourages casual interaction and exchange of ideas between all users who pass through it.​ The seating positions, ceiling design and skylight all help to draw focus and circulation to the centre point.
